Temporary closure and pop-up library
Castleton Library and Community Centre is currently closed for essential building works from Thursday, 28 March 2024 for around 6 months.
We're offering a temporary pop up service from Mayfield Rugby Club until the library is able to go back to the original building.
We're offering a reduced service of books only (reservations can be collected from Mayfield and there's a small selection of stock for customers to choose from.
There's no PC access, printing, photocopying or scanning services during the building works.
The temporary pop-up library is staffed by library staff.

- You can borrow jigsaws for both adults and children free on an adult library card. You can reserve them and request them to be sent to any library in the borough for collection.

While Castleton Library is open, this is a self-serve customer service centre. There are no staff available for face-to-face advice, but you can:
