Rochdale Central Library

Rochdale Central Library is on the ground floor of Number ​One Riverside. The multi use public building is in Rochdale town centre and has a Bean Coffee Shop, meeting rooms and council customer service point.

The library is open during the following hours, we're closed on bank holidays.

  • Macular Degeneration Group, 1.30pm-3.30pm (monthly)
  • Wordweavers Group, 5.30pm (every second and fourth Monday of the month)
  • Epilepsy Support Group, 6pm-7.15pm (third Monday of the month)​

Tuesday

  • O2 Guru help and advice,​ 10am-12noon​ (Started Tuesday, 17 January 2017, every fortnight)
  • Reading Group, 1pm (every 3 weeks)
  • Stop Smoking sessions, 1pm-5pm (appointment only)

Wednesday

  • ​Bookstart Bear Club for the under 5s, 1.30pm-2.30pm
  • IT Session, 2pm - 4pm​

Thursday

  • ​​​IT Session, 10am - 12noon

Friday

  • Stop Smoking sessions, 9am-1pm (appointment only)
  • CVS drop-in, 1pm-3pm (first Friday of the month)​

Saturday

  • Story and Craft Activity, 11.30am-12.30pm (on the first and third Saturday of each month)
