Computers in the library

About computers in the library

If you're a library member, you can book to use a computer at any of the libraries.

Book a session

If a computer is not being used in the library, then you can use it without booking a session.

However, booking a session is the only way to guarantee you'll be able to use a computer at the time you'd like.

You can use library computers for a maximum of 2 hours a day.

You can book a computer by speaking to a member of staff at the library, or phone the Library Service using the contact details on this page.

Who can use a library computer

Any library member over the age of 14 can use the library computers. If you're not a member already, find out how to join the library

If you're 14 years old or younger, you'll need your parent's consent to use a library computer. We asked for this when you joined the library.

If they did not give their consent when you joined, they can contact us at any time to give their consent now.

Other computers and ways to get online

There are other ways you can get free access to a computer and the internet. Some centres will help, if you need it.
