Coronavirus (COVID-19): customer service centre updates
Rochdale customer service centre is open. All other customer service centres remain closed. No appointments are necessary.
Please make sure you:
- Only attend in person if absolutely necessary - you can continue to access services online or over the phone.

Don't attend if you or any of your household are showing any coronavirus symptoms or are self-isolating.
- Attend on your own if you can, to help with social distancing, and keep your stay as short as possible.
- Don't hand any documents to our customer service centre staff as they can't take them from you at the moment. If a council service needs a document from you, please post it to them instead.
- Use the entrance to the left at the front of the building which will be clearly signposted.
- Wear a face covering throughout your visit, unless you're exempt.
- Follow floor markings, signs and instructions during your visit.
- Avoid eating or drinking apart from in the cafe area.
We're carrying out additional cleaning and have installed hand sanitising stations to help make your visit safer.
COVID-19 vaccination service at Number One Riverside - entrance to the building will be different to that for customer services. Please follow the relevant signs if you're attending an appointment for a vaccination.

There's one computer and one phone which you can use for FREE to access council services only if absolutely necessary. This includes to progress benefit claims, universal credit applications, school admission applications, council tax support applications and more.
