Civil partnership declarations and promises
The minimum legal requirement to form a civil partnership is you read a declaration and sign a partnership schedule. If you wish to include promises and exchange of ring you'll be asked to choose from the following.
Option 1
I, (full names) have chosen to spend my life with you (full names). I promise to be loving, loyal and faithful// for the rest of our lives.
Option 2
I declare before these people that I will be caring and loving to you and promise to be supportive of you as an individual. I will cherish and respect you throughout our lives together and will be faithful always.
Option 3
I promise to love and cherish you and always be your friend. I promise to value our relationship and always be honest with you. I will be there to comfort you in times of sorrow and rejoice with you in times of happiness.
Option 4
Own choice of promise. If you choose to write your own promises. Before your promise can be included in the ceremony we'll need to approve it. Please let us have your prepared promise at least 7 working days before your ceremony, please make sure there is no religious wording within the promises.
