About the Household Support Fund
From November 2022, we're investing a further £2.3 million to help support older residents and households most in need. This is in addition to the £3.3 million that has already been spent which mainly focussed on supporting older people and households with children.
This additional financial support will be used for:
- Food vouchers - we'll be targeting support for low-income families by providing e-food vouchers.
- Energy costs for older people - we'll be targeting support and contacting individuals.
- Household Fund - we'll be investing further in our Household Fund for anyone who is in financial need.
We'll be working with partners across the borough, including the voluntary sector, community groups and charities, to make sure those most in need receive the targeted assistance.
You can find more about this financial support in this section. We'll continue to keep the pages updated when we have more information.
