Norman Barnes Fund
The Norman Barnes Fund gives money to help with the welfare of the aged.
Eligibility
You can apply for the Norman Barnes Fund if:
- You live in Rochdale, Castleton, Norden or Bamford.
- You're aged over 60.
Organisations can apply for the Norman Barnes Fund if they assist the elderly in Rochdale, Castleton, Norden or Bamford.
Restrictions
You can only apply once in any 12-month period for up to a maximum of £300.
All applications are considered on their merits at regular meetings of the Trustees.
No payments can be made to help to pay tax, Council Tax or any other statutory payments, except where relief or assistance is already provided out of statutory funds.
