  2. Find locations for your ceremony 
  3. Provisionally book your ceremony
  4. Giving notice
  5. Choose your promises
  6. If you've chosen your ceremony to take place at Rochdale Register Office find out what happens on the day of the ceremony 
  7. Your civil partnership certificate

At your ceremony you'll be presented with a commemorative certificate. Once the partnership registration has been updated on the computer national database you'll receive a certified certificate to confirm the registration of your partnership  - this will usually be available for collection or posting the next working day.​​
