Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers 2020
The council has been named as one of the top 100 apprenticeship employers in the country in 2020.
The list is made up of employers from both the public and private sectors and includes industries like banking, healthcare and local government.
Sitemorse Q4 2020 INDEX
The council's website came third out of over 400 websites tested in the Sitemorse INDEX for the fourth quarter (October–December) in 2020.
The INDEX ranks local government websites across the whole UK for areas including performance, compliance, accessibility and quality. This demonstrates our commitment to making our website accessible to all.
Green Flag Awards
All 10 parks managed and maintained by the council across the borough of Rochdale have achieved a well-deserved green flag once again for 2020/21 as part of the Keep Britain Tidy's Green Flag Award Scheme.
This international award recognises and rewards well-managed parks and green spaces and is a sign to the public that the space boasts the highest possible environmental standards; are kept beautifully maintained and has excellent visitor facilities.
