Reminiscence boxes
Reminiscence boxes are available for loan free of charge to adult library members, Doorstep Library customers and care homes.
Each box contains a range of items and photos from the past designed to spark memories and encourage conversation. Topics include leisure, school days, holidays, the 1960s, and many more. The boxes are stored at Middleton Library.
How to borrow a reminiscence box
Reminiscence boxes can be collected in person from Middleton Library.
You can also speak to a member of staff at your nearest library in the borough of Rochdale and they will have it sent there for you to collect.
How to return a reminiscence box
Reminiscence boxes can be loaned for a maximum of 6 weeks.
You can return a box to any library in the borough of Rochdale, regardless of where you collected it from.
