Empty property leasing programme
We've received additional funding from the Greater Manchester Combined Authority to help bring empty properties back into use. We're looking for suitable empty properties that can provide much-needed homes for families in the borough.
You may be able to lease your empty property to one of our approved housing organisations for an agreed period of time.
Through the programme, you could benefit from:
- Guaranteed rent for an agreed period
- Rent paid in advance for an agreed period
- Tenancy management handled on your behalf
- Minor refurbishment works funded by us and carried out by one of our approved housing organisations
Sell your property to us
We may be able to buy your property from you at market value if we have funding available.
Reduce your renovation costs
If your property has been empty for more than 2 years, you may qualify for a reduced VAT rate on some renovation work. We can provide evidence to support your application.
