Eco-Matters Healthy Homes Grant

You may be able to get support for essential repairs and improvements to help make your home more energy efficient, including:

  • Appliance repair
  • Boiler replacement
  • Damp treatment and repair
  • Electrical works
  • Heat pump installation
  • White goods like fridge freezers and washing machines
  • Window repair or replacement

Who can apply

You could qualify if:

  • You claim a means tested benefit
  • You have a long term medical condition
  • Your household’s combined annual income is below £36,000

Grants from Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA)

Grants are available from the GMCA to provide free or discounted home upgrades.

Grants are typically available for:

  • People in inefficient homes
  • Low income households
  • Homes currently using fossil fuel heating
