In-year transfer admission appeals
You should submit your appeal as soon as possible, ideally within 20 school days, after you’re notified that your admission application for your preferred school was unsuccessful.
Where possible, in-year transfer appeals will be heard within 30 school days of submission.
September 2024 – Reception appeals
The deadline for lodging your Reception appeal for admission in September 2024 is 12midnight on Monday, 20 May 2024.
- If you submit your appeal before the deadline, your appeal will be heard by Wednesday, 24 July 2024.
- If you submit your appeal after the deadline, your appeal will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals, or as soon as is practicable within 30 school days of being submitted (this could be after July 2024).
Appeal hearings for admission to Reception in September 2024 are likely to be heard from the end of June 2024 until July 2024.
