Armed Forces street names
In 2013 we implemented a policy that offers families a chance to name a street or road after a loved one from Rochdale borough who has fallen in active duty.
Such lasting recognition, if this were the wishes of the family, could be a poignant way of demonstrating the community's admiration for those who serve and the value the whole country places on their courage and patriotism.
If you feel you would like to do this:
- Complete the online form.
- Give details of your proposal including the name of the person you would like to have a street named after and their details.
- We'll try to accommodate you as much as possible with regard to the name of the street and its location, discuss this with you at every stage and keep you informed.
Propose to name a street in memory of a member of our Armed Forces
