Do not ignore a Penalty Charge Notice
The notice could end up being registered as civil debt at the county court. If this happens, bailiff action could be taken.
If you plan to appeal...
Please do not pay your parking fine if you plan to appeal. Once a fine is paid, you accept liability and we will close the case.

Why we charge for parking
Parking fees help us to manage and support the maintenance of council car parks. Any funds left after the costs of maintaining our car parks are used for other services like traffic management, better public transport and facilities for pedestrians and cyclists.
