About this event
Cartwheel Arts invite you to get creative by making bees and birds from repurposed and reused materials, reflecting the events commitment to environmental responsibility. Bees, long a symbol of co-operation and collective effort, connect to the roots of the cooperative movement founded by the Rochdale Pioneers. Birds, inspired by the iconic birds at the town hall and the wildlife in our parks, celebrate the town’s cultural and natural environment. Staff and artists will be running a fun, hands-on activity that celebrates art, nature, and the shared stories that make Rochdale special during its year as Greater Manchester’s Town of Culture.
