Smithy Bridge Road, temporary one-way working from 8 April 2026

Reason: To repair a leaking water main in the road.
Restriction and location: Part of Smithy Bridge Road will temporarily have one-way working. Vehicles won't be allowed to travel in south easterly direction between the junction with Bridge North Drive and the junction with Stopford Avenue.
Alternative route: Halifax Road (A58), Albert Royds Street (A664), Milnrow Road (Rochdale), Rochdale Road (A640), Bridge Street, Kiln Lane, Wildhouse Lane (B6225), Milnrow Road (Littleborough) and Smithy Bridge Road.
