You may be able to get help moving your bin to your designated collection point.
Who can get an assisted bin collection
We may be able to assist you if all of the following apply:
- You physically can’t move your bin to the usual collection spot. You might need to show medical evidence, like a doctor’s note, to confirm you can’t move the bin yourself.
- No one in your household can help you move the bin.
- Your property must be easy and safe for our crew to access the bin.
Your eligibility for an assisted bin collection will be reviewed periodically. We'll ask you to reapply or update your details to continue receiving the service.
If your circumstances change
You need to let us know straight away if your circumstances change and you no longer need help with your bin collection.
This includes changes like:
- You move to a new house
- Someone moves in to your house who can help you with the bin
- Your health improves and you’re able to move the bin yourself
