Other plans in the Core Strategy
Other plans that also make up the Core Strategy are:
- Unitary Development Plan (UDP)
The Unitary Development Plan from our 1996-2016 Local Plan is still in place until our Allocations Development Plan is adopted. - Greater Manchester Joint Waste Development Plan
Outlines several sites and areas of land which can be used for new waste management facilities, such as tips and recycling centres. - Greater Manchester Joint Minerals Development Plan
Identifies new mineral extraction sites and lists current mineral sites that need to be protected from closing down.
