Rochdale Veterans Breakfast Club

Every Thursday. A weekly breakfast club for armed forces veterans. A cooked breakfast is provided and there's the opportunity to socialise. 

Middleton Lego Club - Middleton Library

First Thursday of every month. Come and join our Middleton Lego Club, build your own Lego creations in our themed sessions. Duplo is also available for younger siblings.

Wardle Knitting Group (Thursdays) - Wardle Library

Every Thursday. A weekly group with members ranging from beginners to experienced knitters, helping each other, giving advice and sharing patterns. New members are always welcome.

Bookstart Baby and Bear Club - Smallbridge Library

Every other Thursday. Join Amy and Bookstart Bear for a fun session, especially for babies and toddlers up to pre-school age and their parents or carers.

Walking for health - Spotland Library

Every Thursday. Enjoy the benefits of a healthy walk around the local area, returning to the library at the end of the walk for refreshments.

Thursday Reading Group - Spotland Library

First Thursday of every month. Read, share and discuss a range of fiction and non-fiction chosen from our extensive list of book titles in a relaxed and friendly group.

Every Thursday. Replace your bored days with board games and drop in for Rochdale Central Library’s weekly board game club, with games from Scrabble to Monopoly to chess and more.

First Thursday of every month. Come and have a chat with our friendly fostering team.

Watercolour painting courses - Alkrington Library

Weekly Thursday sessions over 8-week courses. Free watercolour classes led by tutors, with all art materials provided.

1st Thursday of every month. Join our monthly chess club. Players of all abilities (especially beginners) welcome.
