As part of Heritage Open Days, Middleton Library and Local Studies are holding "How to research your house".
Step back in time and uncover who lived there before you. Using old maps, census records and historic photographs, you’ll piece together how your house, and the local area has changed over the years.
You don't need to stay for the full event, just drop in.
