School's out and the Holiday Hive is back. It's Outdoor Explorers week across Rochdale Borough Libraries and there are plenty of activities taking place for families to enjoy.

  • Who is this event suitable for? Best for children aged 3–14. Young children must have a supervising adult with them.
  • Do I need to book? No, you can just come along.

  • Do I need to bring anything? If the weather's good, we'll be taking advantage of the grounds and park areas around the library. The outdoor activities might get messy and protective clothing is not provided. Please dress appropriately and be sure to pack sun screen and plenty to drink.

The Holiday Hive will be making a mix of suncatchers and nature collages, fluttering butterflies, plus nature spotting activities.
