About this event

A Rochdale Borough Council football tournament to raise awareness of the White Ribbon Campaign. Come and cheer on your colleagues and see which team is crowned champions.

White Ribbon is the UK’s leading charity engaging men and boys to end violence against women and girls. Their mission is to prevent men’s violence against women and girls by addressing its root causes.

The goal of ending violence against women and girls will bring council staff together for a special football tournament at Heywood Sports Village.

8 teams from all over the organisation will be showing what they can do as part of the White Ribbon campaign, which stands against men’s violence towards women.

Get involved as a referee

All the teams have now been chosen, but we need people to help referee on the night. If you're good at keeping things fair and organised, we'd love to hear from you. We'll provide the whistles and cards.

To get involved, call Wendy Stringer on 01706 925 836
