Local author and historian Martin Gittins will be at Middleton Library on Saturday, 24 May 2025 to discuss his new revised edition of a local history book.

Martin will be talking about his revised edition of Margaret (Peggy) Smith's book Collected Articles on The History of Middleton.
Peggy Smith was a prolific local history writer and her articles appeared regularly in the Middleton Guardian. The book was originally published in 1980 and has been revised by Martin Gittins.
