White Ribbon
Rochdale Borough Council is now White Ribbon accredited.
The White Ribbon UK is the leading charity that works with men to end violence against women and girls. It is through promotions, volunteers, supporters and fundraising events that the message can be shared and can start to make a difference.
If you would like more information regarding becoming a champion of the White Ribbon campaign or an ambassador please email domestic.abuse@rochdale.gov.uk.
Annual campaign
Every year from 25 November-10 December, the charity runs the White Ribbon Campaign which promotes the wearing of a white ribbon.
You can show your support by wearing a white ribbon during the campaign. Wearing a white ribbon is a personal pledge to not commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women.
