- To resurface the road for the Bee Network Phase 2 highway improvement project.

The work will be carried out in 2 phases.
Phase 1:
- Part of A58 Manchester Road will be temporarily closed. The closure will begin at the junction with Bolton Road and end at the junction with New Barn Lane.
- Part of the old section of Manchester Road will be temporarily closed. The closure will begin at the junction with Roch Valley Way and end 15 metres along the road.
- Vehicles won't be able to enter the old section of Manchester Road from the main section.
- Vehicles will temporarily only be able to turn left onto Manchester Road from Edinburgh Way.
Phase 2:
- Part of A58 Manchester Road will be temporarily closed. The closure will begin at the junction with New Barn Lane and end at the junction with Edinburgh Way.
- Vehicles will temporarily only be able to turn left onto Manchester Road from Roch Valley Way.
- Vehicles will temporarily only be able to turn left onto Manchester Road from Edinburgh Way.
