Elizabethan Way, roadworks in Milnrow from 23 October 2026

Expected start and finish: 9pm on Friday, 23 October 2026–6am on Saturday, 24 October 2026. or when the work is complete if sooner.
Reason: To replace an unsafe lighting column.
Restriction and location: Part of Elizabethan Way will be temporarily closed. The closure will begin the junction with the roundabout to the junction with Newhey Road in both directions for a distance of 418 metres.
Alternative route: Elizabethan Way, Bridge Street, Dale Street and Newhey Road.
