Reason: To test the railway level crossing.
Restriction and location: The road either side of the railway level crossing on Smithy Bridge Road will be temporarily closed. The closure will begin 15 metres north west of the level crossing and end 40 metres down the road in a south easterly direction.
Alternative route: Smithy Bridge Road, Milnrow Road (Littleborough), Wildhouse Lane, Kiln Lane, Bridge Street, Rochdale Road, Milnrow Road (Rochdale), Albert Royds Street, Halifax Road (A58) and Smithy Bridge Road.
