Manchester Road Old Section, roadworks in Rochdale from 17 May 2026

Expected start and finish: 12midnight on Sunday, 17 May 2026–11.59pm on Thursday, 21 May 2026
Reason: To work on the Bee Network cycleway in the road.
Restriction and location: Vehicles will be prohibited from turning left from Law Street on to the old section of Manchester Road.

There will be temporary one-way working along the old section of Manchester Road, from the junction with Law Street to a point 140 metres up the road in a north easterly direction. Vehicles will only be allowed to travel along the old section of Manchester Road in a south westerly direction from the junction with Roch Valley Way.
Alternative route: The alternative route will be signed on site when required.
