Sherbourne Road, roadworks in Middleton from 12 May 2026

Expected start and finish: 8am, Tuesday, 12 May 2026–5pm on Thursday, 14 May 2026
Reason: To carry out water works in the road, pavement and verge.
Restriction and location: Part of Sherbourne Road will be temporarily closed. The closure will begin at the junction with Pershore Road and end 55 metres along the road in a westerly direction.
Alternative route: Sherbourne Road, Nowell Road, Whalley Road and Furness Road.
