Wood Street, roadworks in Middleton from 22 April 2026

Reason: To provide space to park a cherry picker needed to replace telecoms masts.
Restriction and location: Temporary closure of a section of Wood Street, which is the south westerly carriageway/Lakeland Court shops access road. The closure will begin 50 metres north west of the junction with Borrowdale Road and end 90 metres up the road in a north westerly direction.
Alternative route: There is no alternative route for vehicles.
