  • The closures on Joshua Lane and Oak Street will be in place between 7.30am, Saturday, 28 February 2026–7pm, Sunday, 1 March 2026.
  • The closure on Vicarage Lane and prohibition of waiting on Greenhill Road will in place between 7.30am, Friday, 27 February 2026–7pm, Sunday, 1 March 2026.
Reason
To allow electrical works in the road and pavement, and allow vehicle traffic to pass roadworks along Greenhill Road.
Restriction and location
  • Part of Joshua Lane will be temporarily closed. The closure will begin at the junction with Oak Street and end 38 metres along the road in an easterly direction.
  • Part of Oak Street will be temporarily closed. The closure will begin at the junction with Joshua Lane and end 5 metres along the road in a westerly direction.
  • Part of Vicarage Lane will be temporarily closed. The closure will begin at the junction with Greenhill Road and end 5 metres up the road in a northerly direction.
  • Part of the southerly side of Greenhill Road will have a restriction of no waiting at any time. This restriction will begin 25 metres north west of the junction with Church Road (the gable end of 52 Greenhill Road). It will end 69 metres down the road in a south easterly direction (outside the opposite gable end of 43 Greenhill Road).

  • For the Joshua Lane closure: Mills Hill Road, Middleton Road, Oldham Road, Townley Street, Grimshaw Lane, Lees Street and Joshua Lane.
  • For the Oak Street closure: Joshua Lane, Greenhill Road, Smethurst Street and Oak Street.
  • For the Vicarage Lane closure: Greenhill Road, Smethurst Street and Vicarage Lane.
