Ruskin Road, roadworks in Rochdale from 5 January 2026

Expected start and finish: 7.30am, Monday, 5 January 2026–5pm, Friday, 22 May 2026
Reason: To install a zebra crossing across Balderstone Road as well as traffic calming measures and other works.
Restriction and location: Part of Ruskin Road will be temporarily closed. The closure will begin at the junction with Balderstone Road and end 10 metres down the road in a southerly direction. No waiting at any time will be allowed in the closed section.
Alternative route: Daventry Road, Hogarth Road and Curzon Road.
