Drake Street, roadworks in Rochdale from 29 August 2025

Expected start and finish: 10pm, Friday, 29 August 2025–4am, Saturday, 30 August 2025
Reason: To carry out safety tests for the tram infrastructure.
Restriction and location: A section of Drake Street will be temporarily closed overnight. The closure will begin at the junction with South Parade and end at the junction with Water Street.
Alternative route: South Parade, Newgate, St Mary's Gate, John Street, Molesworth Street, Milnrow Road and Drake Street.
