Manchester Road and Tweedale Street, roadworks in Rochdale from 18 August 2025

Expected start and finish: 8pm-5am each night between Monday, 18 August 2025 and Friday, 22 August 2025.
Reason: To resurface the road.
Restriction and location: Temporary closure of the following roads:

Manchester Road, in both directions from its junction with The Bent to its junction with Drake Street.

Tweedale Street, from its junction with Manchester Road to a point 20 miles away in an easterly direction.
Alternative route: The alternative route for vehicles will be Edinburgh Way, Queensway, Oldham Road, Fishwick Street, Milnrow Road, Drake Street and Manchester Road.
