Halifax Road, roadworks in Rochdale from 27 July 2025

Reason: To install contraflow traffic management.
Restriction and location: Halifax Road: vehicles won't be allowed to travel along the southerly carriageway (towards Rochdale). This restriction will be in place between the junction with Dye House Lane and the junction with Albert Royds Street.
Alternative route: Halifax Road, Smithy Bridge Road, Milnrow Road (Littleborough), Wildhouse Lane, Kiln Lane, Bridge Street, Rochdale Road, Milnrow Road (Rochdale), Albert Royds Street and Halifax Road.
