Court of Protection fees

Fees for applying to act as a court-appointed deputy are fixed and are set by the Court of Protection. View court of protection fees 

An application fee of £371 must be paid and this will be discussed with your social worker when you apply.

The additional fees payable to us for property and financial affairs deputyship are:

  • An annual management fee: £737 in year 1 and £650 for each following year. If your net assets (money held in all bank accounts) are below £16,000 the fee will not exceed 3.5 per cent of your net assets on the anniversary of the court order. If you own a property or have savings over £16,000 your application may be referred to a panel deputy.
  • Annual property management fee: £300
  • Preparation and lodgement of annual account or report: £216
  • Work up to the court order appointing a deputy: £745
