If you think your Food Hygiene Rating is unfair, you can:
- Appeal
- Use your right to reply
- Request a revisit
Appeal
You should speak to us about your rating before you appeal. We'll explain why we gave you the rating.
If you disagree with our reasons, you can appeal.
Right to reply
You have the right to reply to tell us how you've improved your hygiene or let us know there were unusual circumstances at the time of your inspection.
Request a revisit
You can request a revisit if you make the improvements we told you about at your inspection. We'll complete another inspection with a view to giving you a higher rating.
Cost to request a revisit
It costs £182 to request a revisit.
