Do I need an accompanist?
Pianists won't need an accompanist.
We can provide an accompanist for all students who have music lessons with us.
- If you're taking exam grades 1 and 2, we can provide an accompanist at no extra cost.
- If you're taking exam grades 3 upwards, we charge an additional fee of £10 for an accompanist.
You can also make a private arrangement and engage your own accompanist instead. In this case, you're responsible for ensuring your accompanist knows the time and date of the exam and that you've had adequate practice time together.
