Eligibility
You can claim a Council Tax discount if you're:
- On a training scheme approved for section 28 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992.
- Under 25 years old.
How to apply
To apply for a trainee's discount, you need:
- A signed declaration from your employer.
- Your 8-digit Council Tax reference number which you can find on your bill.
