If you’ve received a moving traffic Penalty Charge Notice, you can:
- Pay your moving traffic Penalty Charge Notice - the penalty is £70, or £35 if you pay within 21 days of the issue date. Do not pay your moving traffic Penalty Charge Notice if you plan to appeal it. Once a penalty is paid, you accept liability and the case is closed.
- Appeal your moving traffic Penalty Charge Notice - if you appeal within 14 days and your appeal is rejected, you can still pay the reduced amount. If you wish to send your appeal by post, you can use the address on this page.
