About this event

Author Cynn Chadwick will discuss history research techniques and storywriting, as well as her novel 'The Incorrigible Rogue' based on the life of her Rochdalian great grandmother.

Cynn has many tips and sources to share with those embarking on their own ancestral investigations or who are looking to write their own family stories. This will also be a fascinating discussion for any who grew up in Rochdale, Milnrow, Newhey or Oldham and who've heard stories of Tim Bobbin, Betty Nuppy, and of Healey Dell, Hollingworth Lake, and Toad Lane, or indeed for anyone with a curiosity about the history of the local area.

Copies of 'The Incorrigible Rogue' will be available to purchase (cash only, please), which Cynn will be pleased to sign.
