Rochdale in Rainbows, the borough's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender+ (LGBT+) steering group, is proud to present Pride.

Events

Rochdale in Rainbows opening and flag raising

  • Date: Friday, 24 June 2022
  • Time: 2.30pm-4pm
  • Location: Number One Riverside, Smith Street, Rochdale OL16 1XU
  • Suitable for: all welcome
  • Details: the progress flag will be raised by the Mayor of Rochdale to mark the beginning of Rochdale in Rainbows 2022.

Pride in the Park

  • Date: Sunday, 26 June 2022
  • Time: 12pm-5pm
  • Location: Broadfield Park, St Alban's Street, Rochdale OL16 1UT
  • Suitable for: all welcome
  • Details: join us for an afternoon filled with queer joy, family fun, performances and creative and wellbeing activities for LGBTQIA+ people. Expect music, drag, dance and more.

Knitting the Progress Flag

  • Date: Wednesday, 29 June 2022
  • Time: 1pm–3pm
  • Location: Touchstones Rochdale, The Esplanade, Rochdale OL16 1AQ
  • Suitable for: all welcome
  • Details: join local community group Knitty Gritty to knit your own mini Progress flag to take home with you or yarn bomb them around the borough.

Youth Services - Pride Event

  • Date: Thursday, 30 June 2022
  • Time: 6pm–9pm
  • Location: Broadfield Park, St Alban's Street, Rochdale OL16 1UT
  • Suitable for: young people aged 11-19
  • Booking: please see the event for details
  • Details: come and join Rochdale Youth Service for a fun filled evening of art activities, a silent disco, mocktail making and glitter face art. All young people are welcome.
