The exhibition captures the history of the site and narratives about their connection with the Slopes, including counting Church Steps as children and meeting people for the first time, as well as dealing with experiences of homelessness.
With thanks to Rochdale Local Studies for the archive images and materials in their collections, which were used to inspire and produce new artwork within the workshops.
The Petrus: Slope Stories workshops and outdoor exhibition are a part of the Broadfield Park Slopes Restoration Project, which is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
