About this event

6 June 2026 and 7 June 2026. Medieval-themed fun in Rochdale Town Hall Quarter, with a special focus on the newly restored Broadfield Park Slopes.

Expect archery, family workshops, re-enactments, music and more! Step back in time as we bring Rochdale's medieval core back to life.

This event is delivered as part of the Broadfield Park Slopes Project, which is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Medieval inspired foods will be on offer at The Martlet Kitchen, which will be open from 10am to 4pm on the Saturday and from 12noon to 4pm on Sunday, 7 June 2026.

In addition, a more relaxed café experience will be available in the Zodiac bar, also inside the town hall. The Zodiac bar will be open from 10am to 4pm throughout the event, serving sandwiches, drinks and cakes.
