Led by Cabasa CIC, you’ll work with professional artists to turn Rochdale's collaborative design into a naturally-dyed flag using batik (painting with hot wax).

No experience is needed, just bring your creativity. All materials are provided. The activity is messy, so please wear old clothes.

The finished flag will celebrate nature and the role of libraries, and will be part of a touring exhibition across Greater Manchester. 10 unique flags, one for each Greater Manchester local authority, will be created during Green Libraries Week.

Flying the Flag for Green Libraries is funded by Libraries Connected North West.
