Saturday, 5 July 2025–Saturday, 13 September 2025. 'Adventures in Nature and the Great Outdoors' is the enchanting theme for the 2025 Summer Reading Challenge.

Second Saturday of every month. A group discussing various authors, genres and themes.

Board games and bookmarks - Smallbridge Library
Visit Smallbridge Library and enjoy some family fun. There will be children’s board games and jigsaws, as well as some picture bookmarks available to colour, too.

Second Monday of every month. Discover new authors and discuss shared books with other readers at our friendly reading group. Everyone's welcome.

Pennines in Bloom - Wardle Library
2nd Thursday, every month from March–October. A local community volunteer group who plan and plant up community areas in Wardle, Littleborough and Smithy Bridge for the benefit of those communities.

Following on with the Summer Reading challenge theme of ‘story garden’, we will be planning how to decorate our own plant pots. We'll then decorate our recycled pots and you can take them home.
