How to register
You can go to any register office in England and Wales to give the details of the stillbirth.
To register a stillbirth at Rochdale Register Office:
- Ring us to arrange an appointment.
- You'll need to bring the medical certificate the doctor or midwife gave you.
- We'll enter your child's details in the register and you'll need to sign to confirm the information is correct.
- We'll give you a certificate of registration. You can use the certificate as proof you've registered the stillbirth.
