The price of a naming ceremony depends on where it's held.

Register Office ceremony fees

If you have a naming ceremony at Rochdale Register Office, the cost depends on which day of the week you choose to have it on.

  • Monday-Friday: £179
  • Saturday: £236

Other approved venue ceremony fees

If you have a naming ceremony at an approved venue, other than Rochdale Register Office, the cost depends on which day of the week you choose to have it on.

  • Monday-Friday: £261
  • Saturday: £325
  • Sunday or bank holiday: £368

Monday–Friday: 9am–4.15pm (on the last Thursday of each month, 10.30am-4.15pm).

Saturday and Sunday: ceremonies only.

You must make an appointment to register births and deaths and give notice of marriage.
