To make a claim for a Discretionary Housing Payment:
- Complete the Discretionary Housing Payment application form online. You should apply as soon as possible as we may only pay your claim from the date we receive your request.
- Alternatively, you can download the form. Complete and return the form and any evidence to a customer service centre. Download the Discretionary Housing Payment application form
- We aim to respond to you within 1 month to tell you whether or not your claim has been successful. We'll tell you how much you'll get and how long it will last. You can reapply when the payment stops if you need to.
